Dr. Müller Gerätebau GmbH was founded in April 1993. Founding members were employees of the development department of a company in Freital that had been developing clinical analysers since the 1960s. Since the beginning of the 1980s, the development of devices using biosensors had been the centre of their work. The group was able to benefit from a productive co-operation with an internationally accepted team from the “Akademie der Wissenschaften” (German Academy of Sciences) in Berlin. Thus already 1984, the first blood glucose analyser was built. From 1986, this analyser was distributed in a slightly modified form throughout Europe by a renowned company in Hamburg.
Building on these long years of experience and complemented by the modern knowledge of young engineers and competent external partners, we are in a position today to develop and produce reliable, innovative analysers.
